Interact
Welcome to the redesigned website for Anthroposophy in Australia.
The new site has a number of features which will enable users to interact through the forums, submit upcoming Anthroposophical events, submit links and for those that would like to participate further, upload articles (please note that some of the above links will not work unless you are registered and signed in).
All you have to do is sign up as a user on the site and a new menu will appear which will give you access to these features. It is likely that new interactive features will be added in the future if there is sufficient need or requests. If you would like to participate further with the development of this site, or participate from a State or Branch of the Anthroposophical Society, contact the webmaster through the contact form.
Something not working?
It is expected that there will be a couple of issues with the new design, if you find a problem or something doesn’t work or you would just like to make a suggestion, please write a message on the forum or if the problem doesn’t allow you to do that, please send an email to

Instructions for uploading an article.
Uploading an article isn’t much more difficult than writing an email through a web based platform like Hotmail, Yahoo mail and Gmail. It is very similar to uploading a blog entry.
Below is an image of the interface with a few notes. If you sign in and go to Submit Article you will see what all the functions do by putting your mouse pointer over the button and it will tell you what it is. The below explanation may seem a little complicated but it is actually very easy once you start.
Step 1. Add the title of your Article in the Title section.
Step 2. Add the text of your article through copy and paste. Note: It is recommended that text is converted to plain text before you copy and paste with Notepad or another plain text editor. However there is a Paste from MS Word option in this editor (this will not include any images). Please try to keep it simple regarding fonts and font sizes (yes it looks small in the editor but not on the site) etc. the site should take care of that itself.
Images: To insert an image, you will need to upload it. First, click on the “Image” button below the main dialogue (see diagram below). A new box will appear > select a folder (please use “articleimages”) > click “Browse Files” at the bottom of the box under “Upload”> upload the image > click “insert”. Once your image has be inserted, you can edit the image size, text alignment etc. by selecting the image by clicking on it. A small box will then be highlighted amongst the buttons at the top of the dialogue box (see diagram below) , click on that and you will be able to edit the properties of the image. All pictures should have a width of no more than 600 pixels. There is no limit to the height.
Step 3. Save by scrolling up next to the title and click save.
If you would like to upload a file (not an image), please contact us using the address below.
Unfortunately, at this time you are not able to edit your articles after you save it until the article has been approved for publication. If you have made a mistake or want to edit or delete before publication, please contact
